VIDEO: Strange Light Formation Over Texas has Residents Stumped

UFO fever appears to be peaking once again in America, long after the previous spike in interest back at the dawn of the Atomic Age, when a tiny town in New Mexico crash landed into the national spotlight.

Out in the desert, near Roswell, there was said to be a crashed flying saucer, perhaps even with little green men inside.  Within days, the story had shifted dramatically under the direction of the federal government, and a conspiracy was born.

And for the next several decades interest in UFO’s waxed and waned, rising today to perhaps the level that it was at during the early days of The X-Files lengthy television run.

In modern day America, thanks to the federal government’s sudden willingness to discuss the phenomenon, there has been a bit of a resurgence in UFO talk…and sightings.

One of the latest pieces of alleged evidence comes to us from Texas, and features an eerie formation of lights in the sky.

Mysterious lights were spotted Thursday night north of Austin over Brushy Creek and Cat Hallow.

Video was sent to FOX 7 by Gus McGiven. He was out walking with his friend Kyle Gomez near Cat Hallow in Round Rock.

“In real life when you see it, it’s a lot brighter than it actually is,” said Kyle Gomez.

Emily White says she and a friend were near Brushy Creek, close to Cedar Park, at the time. They also recorded a video clip of the lights.

“It was mesmerizing, honestly. It was so silent because if it was one light, then I would have maybe thought, ‘Oh, a helicopter, a plane, something like that.’ But like there was so many of them together,” said White.

The clip was lighting up social media.

Skeptics weren’t so sure, however, with many suggesting that the objects may have been drones of some sort.
