Sen. Ted Cruz is one sharp fellow, a fact all of us are aware of just simply from hearing him debate folks and recite the entire Constitution from memory, a feat us mere mortals only dream of being able to accomplish.

Cruz decided to apply that large cranium of his to breaking down the motivation behind the “scorched earth” tactics being employed by the Democratic Party as a means of interfering with Trump’s SCOTUS pick’s confirmation hearing.

“This hearing is not about the qualifications of the nominee,” Cruz said, then followed with a slew of facts.

“This hearing is not about his judicial record,” he said, then more facts.

“Today is also not about documents,” then facts.

Cruz then declared what the Democratic tactics of delay and distract really is about.

“I believe this fight is nothing more and nothing less than an attempt by our Democratic colleagues to relitigate the 2016 election,” Cruz said.

He then makes an extremely convincing argument — again, full of facts — to make his case.

It’s so perfectly worded and organized that you really oughta’ take 14 minutes and watch his full opening statement.

Here’s the full video of his statement. You don’t want to miss a second of this:

What’s truly despicable about the left is how they are absolutely desperate to hold on to the legalized murder of unborn children. In reality, that’s a lot of what the hubbub over Kavanaugh is about. Go on Twitter and see for yourself.

All of these “feminists” are in favor of murdering unborn babies — many of which are female by the way — for the sake of convenience. They want to have promiscuous sex without any of the potential consequences, and someone like Kavanaugh, who would give conservatives the edge on the bench, sees his appointment as a threat to that egregious act.

Let’s hope Kavanaugh gets in without too much trouble and that Roe v. Wade is soon overturned.
