The race card.

Always the race card with Democrats.

Any excuse to pull it out, they will.

Enter Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax, who says in light of his sex scandal that calling for his resignation is akin to “terror lynchings.”

Virginia Lt. Gov. Justin Fairfax spoke unexpectedly on the state’s Senate floor Sunday, where the embattled leader likened himself to a lynching victim over calls for his resignation in response to the sexual assault accusations made against him.

Moments before the legislative session ended, Republican Sen. Tommy Norment thanked Fairfax for his “professionalism” during the “stressful times,” prompting Fairfax to speak for about six minutes, comparing the accusations against him with “no facts” to terror lynchings that have occurred in the state of Virginia.

“If we go backwards and we rush to judgment and we allow for political lynchings without any due process, any facts, or any evidence being heard, then I think we do a disservice to this very body in which we all serve.”

First, Virginia Governor Ralph Northam’s racist past came to light. Then, Fairfax’s sex scandal made waves.

The state’s attorney general, Mark Herring, later claimed that he, like Northam, wore blackface in his youth.

Then this happened…

From Daily Wire:

The series of scandals that have brought Virginia Democrats to their knees over the last week worsened after a new bombshell report was released on Wednesday night that alleges a Democratic lawmaker knew about the sexual assault allegations against Democrat Lieutenant Governor Justin Fairfax for over a year.

ABC News reports that Rep. Bobby Scott (D-VA) was made aware of the allegations directly from Fairfax’s accuser, Dr. Vanessa Tyson, “who on Wednesday released a statement detailing the alleged 2004 assault, which took place at the Democratic National Convention in Boston.”

In December 2017, Tyson allegedly told Scott that Fairfax had a “MeToo allegation,” and over the next month, Scott’s aides learned that Tyson was the alleged victim.

Will any of these Democrats be forced to answer for their recklessness?

Will any of them resign?

President Trump ripped into Northam after racist photos surfaced from his yearbook showing men in blackface and a KKK hood.

Democrats and Republicans are calling for Northam’s resignation, but he says he’s not leaving his post.

Here’s what 45 had to say on the subject…

Democrat Governor Ralph Northam of Virginia just stated, “I believe that I am not either of the people in that photo.” This was 24 hours after apologizing for appearing in the picture and after making the most horrible statement on “super” late term abortion. Unforgivable!

Ed Gillespie, who ran for Governor of the Great State of Virginia against Ralph Northam, must now be thinking Malpractice and Dereliction of Duty with regard to his Opposition Research Staff. If they find that terrible picture before the election, he wins by 20 points!
