'Wash. Post' Upset that Israel’s Iron Dome Rocket Shield Saves Too Many Jews

The Washington Post published an analysis of the war in Gaza in which the writer said he wished that just a few more Jews would die in the rocket barrages, just to be fair.

For the Post, Open University of Israel “professor” Yagil Levy lamented that Israel’s Iron Dome rocket shield was just too darn effective and stopped way too many of the rockets sent into Israel by terrorist group Hamas.

Levy — who claims to be an expert in “civil-military relations, particularly casualty sensitivity, civilian control, military-religious relations, and the social makeup of the armed forces” — wrote that when Iron Dome was first used in 2012, the idea was to protect Israel’s citizens from “prolonged threat and the disruption of daily life.”

But he went on to say that the Iron Dome worked too well.

Levy insisted that Iron Dome worked so well that the protection gave Israel “freedom of action against Hamas (for example, imposing restrictions on trade between Gaza and the West Bank), knowing that their responses, and those of other militias, would have limited impact on Israeli lives.”

This self-hating Jew added that the protection from Iron Dome “allows Israel to act with less concern for civilian casualties and gives Israel less incentive to find a political solution to its conflict with Gaza.”

Well, darn it all, huh? If that stinkin’ Iron Dome was only just a little less effective, those evil Jews wouldn’t have the advantage over the terrorists in Hamas!

This is disgusting. The Washington Post really hoped for more Jews to die just so Israel wouldn’t have an edge over terrorists.
