Published

on

Right-leaning news outlet, Washington Examiner, had their Twitter account hacked early on Monday morning, having had a tweet posted by the hacker saying “Trump is going to hell.”

The tweet was deleted, but a screenshot of it reveals the whole message left by the despicable computer criminal.

“Anyone who ever read the bible can tell you where it stands on rich adulterers. The key to God’s forgiveness is repentance. Trump’s entire political career has been about the exact opposite of that. Also this paper is garbage for promoting ‘Trump and God.’”

The Washington Examiner stopped publishing a daily newspaper in 2013, but does release a weekly magazine.

The tweet was posted at 5:13 a.m. ET and was taken down around 7 a.m. A tweet explaining the situation was released.

“The Washington Examiner’s Twitter feed was hacked and a tweet was posted that did not come from our staff,” it said. “We are taking appropriate action and will issue a further statement if necessary.”

At this point in time, no further clarification has not been provided as to who might be responsible.
