Here’s what was written on the Instagram post:

After the White House announced on Thursday that press secretary Sarah Sanders would be stepping down at the end of the month, Sanders said she hoped to be remembered for her transparency and honesty. Post media columnist Margaret Sullivan’s first impulse upon hearing that was to laugh. “But lying to citizens while being paid by them really isn’t all that funny,” Sullivan writes. “She misled reporters or tried to, and through them, misled the American people.” Read more by clicking the link in our bio. Reactions from conservatives:

Just when you thought the disgraceful, conspiracy-theory-promoting Washington Post couldn’t go any lower, they manage to defy expectations. They stopped doing journalism a long time ago, they’re strictly liberal activists now.

Disgusting – gaslighting was what the Washington Post, New York Times, MSNBC, CNN tried to do with most Americans with regards to #RussiaInvestigation into President Trump. They insisted that there was conspiracy no matter where the evidence pointed or proved their sources wrong.

A report is claiming Sarah may follow in her dad’s footsteps and run for governor of Arkansas.

From Daily Wire:

White House Press Secretary Sarah Sanders is reportedly considering running for governor in her home state of Arkansas after she departs from her position in the Trump administration at the end of the month.

“In private conversations in recent weeks, Sanders has floated running for governor in her home state of Arkansas, according to two people familiar with the talks,” CNN reported. “Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson was re-elected just last year, so unless he steps down early — or is appointed to something — the governor’s office in Little Rock isn’t open until January 2023. She has told colleagues and friends that she thinks running for office would be a good next move for her, instead of taking a television job upon her departure.”

At a White House press conference, Trump took a moment to recognize Sanders and added that he wants her to run for governor in Arkansas, saying: “If we can get her to run for the Governor of Arkansas I think she’ll do very well and I’m trying to get her to do that.”

Sarah’s dad dropped this tweet:

Well, @realDonaldTrump is losing @PressSec who is a great one and I say that with as much objectivity as Fake News CNN has toward @POTUS

Battered Woman In Jail For Not Having Concealed-Carry Permit After Shooting Father Of Children Who Attacked Her

Published

on

A 29-year-old woman is still behind bars after shooting the father of her children in self-defense, all because she did not have a concealed-carry permit for the weapon she possessed. The man, meanwhile, has been released on bond. Police told the Herald & Review that the woman in question had a shunt in her head from a previous injury, thus a blow to that area of the body could prove to be fatal. In response to the assault, the woman shot the man out of self-defense. TheBlaze has the latest: The man was hospitalized for a shot to his right side, the paper said, adding that police contacted the woman who voluntarily came to the police station for questioning. Sgt. Chris Copeland told the Herald & Review the woman had several injuries to her face from the man battering her. The man was arrested and is facing preliminary charges of domestic battery and unlawful vehicular invasion, the paper said, adding that he posted $10,000 bond. But the woman — who’s not facing charges for the shooting — is facing a preliminary charge of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon for lack of a concealed carry license, the Herald & Review reported. She was being held in lieu of $75,000, the paper added. This same scenario happened just last week when a woman in Chicago was attacked by a teenager who tried to take her property. The woman was charged with aggravated unlawful use of a weapon because she didn’t have a concealed carry license.

Impeachment Articles Against President Trump Approved By House Judiciary Committee

Published

on

In a pair of party-line votes, the House Judiciary Committee approved two articles of impeachment against President Trump Friday morning. TheBlaze has more information on how things went down: One article of impeachment is for alleged abuse of power in his administration’s interactions with Ukraine earlier this year, the other is for obstruction of Congress during the House’s subsequent investigation into the Ukraine controversy. Both were introduced by House Democrats earlier this week. The committee voted on each article of impeachment separately, passing each by a party-line vote of 23 to 17, with Democrats in favor and Republicans opposed. Friday morning’s vote came after two days of heated committee deliberations over the articles, during which Republicans offered multiple amendments to the language, none of which were adopted. On Thursday evening, committee chairman Jerry Nadler decided to stop the proceedings and move them to the next morning, stating that he wanted to give legislatures time “to think about what has happened over these last two days and to search their consciences before we cast our final votes.” Republican Doug Collins slammed the decision, referring to it as a “bush-league stunt,’ saying he and his colleagues were not consulted on the changes that were made. Nadler made a few quick remarks after the vote, saying “today is a solemn and sad day,” and that “the House will act expeditiously” on the matter of impeachment. https://twitter.com/ABCPolitics/status/1205513763991900161
