WATCH: Andrew Klavan Puts Dems Melting Down Over SCOTUS in Their Place With Epic Message

Published

on

This week has been a massive blow to the progressive movement, thanks in large part to some major decisions being made by the Supreme Court and the announced retirement of a leftist justice.

As you can imagine, liberals have been boohooing like crazy over all of this, as it’s likely that the president will appoint someone who is pro-life to the bench, meaning there’s a real possibility that conservatives could soon see Roe v. Wade overturned and the issue of abortion thrown back to the states, where it rightfully belongs.

There’s little doubt that if that happens, the vast majority of states will completely and totally ban the murder of the unborn and there will be nothing the left can do about it.

Along with this, decisions weighing in favor of the Christian baker who refused to bake a cake for a gay wedding and one that ruled pregnancy centers do not have to promote abortion has progressives throwing massive temper tantrums.

Conservative commentator Andrew Klavan has a message for those crying their eyes out over all of these SCOTUS developments and they are most definitely not going to like it.

“I have one message for the Left on this: This is your own damn fault,” said Klavan. “It’s you who insisted that the government should put its grubby little fingers into every single aspect of our lives. The Constitution gives … the Federal Government enumerated powers. It’s not supposed to have any other powers other than what’s mentioned in the Constitution, but it’s you guys who have extended that power through interpreting the Constitution any way you want, just making it up…it’s a ‘living document’…”

Now the Federal Government decides who gets married, who can get married, what laws the states can make about marriage, what laws the states can make about abortion. You know, it’s like basically you have a Chicago pol, like Obama, sitting in Washington telling people in Arkansas who should use the bathrooms in their public schools…The President of The United States is going to dictate that to Mississippi, is gonna dictate that to Connecticut, it’s like what on earth? That is not the way our government was supposed to work!

This is supposed to be enumerated powers. It’s your fault, Lefties, that the court has become that important. It shouldn’t be that five unelected justices get this decision, you know, get to make decisions that affect us all so deeply. If the government were smaller, if the government were obeying the Constitution and only having the enumerated powers in the Constitution then the Supreme Court’s decisions, every now and then there would be an important one, it wouldn’t be like every single one was dealing with every single one of us. It’s the Left , when you saw these decisions that we were talking about yesterday, these enforced speech decisions, it’s the Left that wants to tell you how to feel, it’s the Left that wants to tell you how to think, it’s the Left that wants to tell you how to say. They think that freedom just fell out of the sky and it will be protected no matter what we do. They do not understand that it’s our laws, our Constitution that protect us — and when you interpret the Constitution rightly, even if you don’t get what you want in that minute, it still is protecting you and the Left just doesn’t get it, they only go with the results, they never care about the process.

Check out the video below:

Klavan just hit a grand slam here and you can guarantee the left is going to consider this little love note to be salt in the wound. Still, that doesn’t change the fact it’s true.

What the left doesn’t seem to understand is that each and every time they expand the power of the government, they expand it for conservatives too, which, obviously, is a bad thing for Americans as a whole, but is also devastating for their agenda because we can turn that power on itself.

We’ll just use that same power to dismantle everything they accomplish, so what, exactly, is the point of even expanding the government in the first place? There isn’t one other than the consolidation of power. The left clearly believes they, through government power, can actually usher in a utopian society that is fair and balanced for everyone.

Essentially, the sin of the leftist is that they believe they can be a law unto themselves and create heaven on earth, all without God. It’s the very same lie Satan used to trip up Adam and Eve in the garden. He tricked them into believing they could actually be a law unto themselves, knowing good and evil, and arrogantly create their own paradise as equals with God.

Unfortunately, since the left has abandoned the Creator and biblical truth, they are oblivious to this reality.

Amazon Rolls Out Creepy ‘Pay By Palm’ Hardware at Whole Foods

Is this one of the harbingers of a cashless society?

Throughout much of modern history, Americans and their cash were two separate things.  One was a human being, breathing and walking about, earning money.  The money was an inanimate commodity of varying value that we used to keep the organism alive, fat, and happy. But in the future, it seems as though we may find ourselves intrinsically, and anatomically indistinguishable from our bank account.  In fact, it appears as though Amazon is banking on it. Amazon.com Inc (AMZN.O) said it is rolling out biometric technology at its Whole Foods stores around Seattle starting on Wednesday, letting shoppers pay for items with a scan of their palm. The move shows how Amazon is bringing some of the technology already in use at its namesake brick-and-mortar Go and Books stores to the grocery chain it acquired in 2017. The system, called Amazon One, lets customers associate a credit card with their palm print. It offers a contact-less alternative to cash and card payments, Amazon said. Of course, the move is being regarded as a terrifying leap into Orwellian territory by privacy experts, as it appears to push us ever closer to a cashless society where hackers and power failures could doom us all to poverty in the blink of an eye.

Fraternal Order of Police Responds to LeBron James’ Tweet Fiasco

And they were NOT happy.

The politicization of American sports has been ongoing for some time, perhaps decades, but the most recent acceleration of this melding has come thanks to the power of social media and the blurring of the line between celebrity and athlete. At the forefront of this movement has been the NBA, and, more specifically, superstar LeBron James. This week, James came under fire for a tweet in which he referenced the Derek Chauvin trial’s guilty verdicts, with a photo of another officer who was involved in the shooting of a young black girl and text stating “you’re next”. The tweet was seen as a threat by many, including the Fraternal Order of Police who responded harshly. On Wednesday, James tweeted a photo of the officer involved in the shooting with a caption reading “YOU’RE NEXT #ACCOUNTABILITY.” The tweet has since been deleted. James was reacting to the deadly police shooting of 16-year-old Ma’Khia Bryant. Hours later, the National Fraternal Order of Police tweeted a photo of James’ original tweet, saying: “[email protected], with his vast resources & influence, should educate himself and, frankly, has a responsibility to do so, on the facts before weighing in. This is disgraceful & extremely reckless. The officer saved a young girl’s life. No amount of gaslighting will change that fact.” James attempted to walk back the tweet after deleting it, by issuing an explanation that garnered only a lukewarm response online.
