Yeah, I don’t see that happening. Do you?

Failed Senate candidate and soon-to-be-failed Democrat presidential candidate Beto O’Rourke often says some of the funniest things.

Very often.

His latest sentence on AR-15’s might just take the cake, though.

Beto again says he believes gun owners will turn in AR-15s if they became illegal and cops won’t go door-to-door: “So I believe that America will comply with the law…we expect people to follow the law and that’s certainly what I believe will happen.”

This is a useful point.

If people always followed the law, you wouldn’t need to confiscate AR-15s because of the whole murder being illegal thing.

Beto is admitting his confiscation plan is aimed at the law abiding.

Beto O’Rourke with another 🤥🤥🤥🤥🤥: “Texans who own AR-15s, they’ve told me, ‘I don’t need this. I don’t need it to hunt, I don’t need it to protect myself…if giving this back, or cutting it to pieces, or selling it to the gov helps to keep us safer, then by all means do it’”

More from MSN:

Former Rep. Beto O’Rourke of Texas has made his position on assault weapons crystal clear. “Hell, yes, we’re going to take your AR-15, your AK-47,” O’Rourke said during Thursday’s Democratic presidential debate. “We’re not going to allow it to be used against our fellow Americans anymore.”

To accomplish this, O’Rourke has proposed a mandatory confiscation of these guns whereby individuals would be compensated for their firearms.

Beyond the thorny politics of this proposal, it raises clear legal and logistical questions, including whether a president has the authority to confiscate people’s guns.

Boy, liberals literally don’t have one solid candidate running for POTUS.

Not one.

Once Beto is out, will the uninformed flock to Biden, Sanders, Elmo, Warren, Gabbard, Big Bird, Cookie Monster, or Castro?

Tough call.

President Trump Issues Warning About Pelosi Impeachment Logic; Says It Could Be Used To ‘Routinely Attack Future Presidents’

On Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi held her weekly press conference where she announced that the House Judiciary Committee would be going forward with the drafting of articles of impeachment against President Trump. The articles of impeachment are part of the final steps of the process before sending impeachment to the House for a full vote. President Trump responded to the news of the articles being drafted by noting on Twitter that the kind of logic being employed by Democrats like Pelosi could potentially be used against presidents in the future. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: “The Do Nothing, Radical Left Democrats have just announced that they are going to seek to Impeach me over NOTHING. They already gave up on the ridiculous Mueller ‘stuff,’ so now they hang their hats on two totally appropriate (perfect) phone calls with the Ukrainian President,” he said. “This will mean that the beyond important and seldom used act of Impeachment will be used routinely to attack future Presidents. That is not what our Founders had in mind. The good thing is that the Republicans have NEVER been more united. We will win!” Trump added. https://twitter.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1202606537342160896 No specific timeline for the articles, nor what exactly they would contain were brought up during Pelosi’s press conference, but Democrats are hoping for a chance to vote on them before the House adjourns on December 20.

Democratic Congressman Hints At Possible Continuous Impeachment Efforts, Says ‘We Can Impeach Again’

Texas Rep. Al Green is not helping to dispel the notions held by conservatives that the whole impeachment inquiry House Democrats have launched against President Trump is a coup designed to help them get revenge for Hillary’s loss in 2016 with his latest comments suggesting impeachment could be a continuous process. On Thursday, Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi made an announcement stating the House Judiciary Committee would be drafting up articles of impeachment against the president as part of the final steps before taking the measure to the House for a full vote. If the House succeeds in voting to impeach President Trump, the process will then head over to the Republican-controlled Senate. As of right now, there’s very little support available to actually convict Trump of any wrongdoing, so chances are high that impeachment will fail in the Senate. Here’s more from The Washington Examiner: Green claimed that shouldn’t dissuade Democrats from moving rapidly toward impeachment. During a speech on the House floor on Thursday, Green reminded his colleagues that there is “no limit” to the number of times they can impeach the president. “The Constitution allows a president to be impeached more than once,” Green explained. “If we impeach now, or at some time in the near future, for one issue that we dearly should, then we find later that the president has other issues that merit impeachment, we can impeach again. There is no limit on the number of times.” Green noted that he doesn’t believe Trump should be impeached “needlessly,” despite having forced a vote on impeachment three times before the current effort to remove Trump following his controversial phone call with Ukrainian leaders. Green further stated, “Every time I call it to the attention of this House, there was purpose and reason behind it,…
