There’s a reason everybody wants to come to America.

You certainly know why, so there’s no need to go down the list.

However, the next generation of leaders doesn’t understand why America is great. In fact, most of them in this clip below name another country as better than the U.S.

From The Blaze:

The majority of students conceded that Sweden, Norway, Canada, and Iceland were the best countries in the world.

WATCH:

Barack Obama’s legacy will continue to haunt the nation for a good while to come.

This will be the case until Obamacare is repealed and replaced, and until former Obama administration aides are no longer saying silly things in defense of quite arguably the worst president America has ever seen.

Check out how a former Obama admin appointee who became a college president feels about free speech on campus…

From The Blaze:

David R. Harris — president of Union College in New York and an appointee in the administration of former President Barack Obama — stated in an Inside Higher Ed essay last week, “I oppose free speech on college campuses.”

From the essay, Harris writes:

Free speech, in its purest form, is an exercise in what is achieved when a person yells a view and then leaves, after which someone with an opposing perspective does the same. The speakers do not grow as a result of the experience, and the audience has no opportunity to probe the opposing points of view. Such an exercise is guaranteed by the Constitution, and I wholeheartedly support the exercise of free speech in public spaces.

On campuses, however, we must strive for something more than free speech. Our mission requires that we seek what I refer to as constructive engagement. It is not enough for individuals to speak freely. We must also find myriad ways to put a range of views into conversation with one another. It is what we do in classrooms every day. It is what we do on debate teams. It is what happens across every campus, far more than critics appreciate. It is what happens in the lives of college students much more frequently than in the lives of most adults, in part because college campuses and social networks tend to be more diverse than “real world” neighborhoods and social clubs.

This sounds like exactly what someone from the Obama administration would say.

Democrat Governor Frees 8,000 Inmates Over COVID-19, But Bans Singing In Churches

Priorities?

Once again, the Golden State continues to lead the nation in crazy. Thanks to radically far-left Governor Gavin Newsom, 8,000 prisoners will be freed due to spikes in coronavirus – which most likely stem from increased testing and Black Lives Matter riots, where police officers are treated like animals. Newsom has no problem banning singing in church, though. From KPIX 5: The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) on Friday said it estimates 8,000 currently incarcerated persons could be eligible for release by end of August under release authority granted to the CDCR Secretary allowing alternative confinement or release in any case in which an emergency endangering the lives of incarcerated persons has occurred or is imminent. The 8,000 inmates to be released are in addition to the state’s reduction of about 10,000 inmates since the start of the pandemic. Jay Jordan, the executive director of Californians for Safety and Justice, noted: “We’re glad the Governor is taking action to release more people. This is absolutely critical for the health and safety of every Californian. Too many people are incarcerated for too long in facilities that spread poor health. Supporting the health and safety of all Californians means releasing people unnecessarily incarcerated and transforming our justice system.” Regarding church, via Fox News: Faith leaders are speaking out after California Gov. Gavin Newsom banned singing and chanting in houses of worship last week due to a surge in coronavirus cases following weeks of protests. “Places of worship must, therefore, discontinue singing and chanting activities and limit indoor attendance to 25 percent of building capacity or a maximum of 100 attendees, whichever is lower,” the new guidelines read as state health officials recommend churches have members sing online from their homes. Roger Stone Will Not Serve Prison Time, Has Sentence Commuted By POTUS Trump

Freedom!

Liberals are going to have a field day with this one. Then again, they generally go bananas for anything and everything “Trump,” so this will just be more gas on the fire. As of late Friday evening, longtime Trump adviser Roger Stone learned that he won’t be serving time in the big house. From Fox News: Tucker Carlson lauded President Trump’s commutation of longtime Republican political consultant Roger Stone’s prison sentence Friday, saying the 67-year-old had been the victim of a “nakedly political” set-up aimed to put him away for the rest of his “useful and expected life.” Stone was to report to prison Tuesday on charges of witness tampering and making false statements in connection to the Mueller investigation of alleged collusion between Russia and the Trump campaign. Carlson said, “His arrest and his trial were nakedly political. It was a set-up. The presiding judge, a political activist called Amy Berman Jackson, issued a gag order that prohibited Stone from defending himself in public or making a living. She bankrupted him as a result.” Here’s the letter from the White House: California Congressman Eric Swalwell’s (D) 2020 presidential campaign lasted a solid five minutes. Even he probably knew he didn’t stand a chance. But that hasn’t stopped the radically far-left liberal from saying some very, very silly things. Swalwell knows the lines he’s supposed to parrot and does it well – or, at least, well enough. He’s just not the most likable of characters. In February, the Democrat suggested a new plan his peers might hatch in order to take down the duly-elected president of the United States.
