WATCH: Democrat Ilhan Omar Blamed America for Terrorist Mall Attack Where 70 Died

Minnesota Democrat Ilhan Omar blamed the United States of America for a terrorist attack in Africa that left 70 people dead.

200 others were injured.

Imagine if Omar was a Republican.

There would be pandemonium and she’d be called to resign.

Minnesota Democratic Rep. Ilhan Omar once described acts of terrorism as a reaction to “our involvement in other people’s affairs,” in the wake of the brutal al-Shabab attack on a Kenyan shopping mall in 2013.

Omar made the comments during an obscure local television appearance just weeks after four armed al-Shabab jihadists stormed the Westgate mall in Nairobi in 2013, killing nearly 70 people and wounding 200.

Host Ahmed Tharwat: “When are we gonna decide or realize that terrorism is a reaction? It’s an ideology, it’s a means of things, it’s not an entity, it’s not a place, people. It’s a reaction to a situation.

Omar: “Yes. What you’re insinuating is what nobody wants to face. Nobody wants to face how the actions of the other people that are involved in the world have contributed to the rise of the radicalization and the rise of terrorist acts.

Omar: “Usually most people want to not look internal and see what their actions that makes another react. For us, it’s always ‘I must have not done anything. Why is it happening to me?’ Nobody wants to take accountability of how these are byproducts of the actions of our involvement in other people’s affairs.

WATCH (start at the 11:35 mark):

Israeli-born politician Anabelle Lima-Taub was raised in New York. She doesn’t have a filter.

Lima-Taub was “elected to the Hallandale Beach Commission in November of 2016 on a platform of restoring ethics to city hall, promoting public safety and ensuring a considerate government that puts the residents of Hallandale Beach first. Anabelle utilized her first term as commissioner to combat the most prevalent issues in South Florida including condo association fraud and social initiatives for senior citizens living on lower social security incomes.”

She’s now in a little bit of trouble for saying Muslim Democrat Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib (MI) may “blow up Capitol Hill.”

From Miami Herald:

A rookie commissioner from a South Florida beach city is facing calls for her resignation after she called newly elected Michigan Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib a “danger” and said the first Palestinian-American woman in Congress may decide to become a “martyr and blow up Capitol Hill.”

From Washington to South Florida, the post has been called “indefensible” and “racist.”

Annabelle is holding strong:

Lima-Taub ignored critics who called for an immediate apology for the offensive post, and instead justified her actions by pointing to Tlaib’s stance on Israel.

“My issue with Congresswoman Rashida Tlaib is her affiliation with the BDS movement, Hamas, Hezbollah and CAIR,” the Council on American-Islamic Relations, Lima-Taub told the Miami Herald. (BDS refers to the Boycott, Divestment and Sanctions movement against Israel.) Lima-Taub said her support for removing Tlaib from office had little to do with the possible offense Tlaib caused Trump and his supporters.
