WATCH: Gowdy Says He Won't Apologize to Comey After Disgraced FBI Head Demands Critics Do So

Former South Carolina Congressman Trey Gowdy isn’t one to play games.

Especially not with disgraced former FBI Director James Comey.

After an IG report revealed Comey’s wrongdoing regarding Hillary Clinton’s email scandal, Jimbo tried to make it seem as if he was in the clear.

He wasn’t. And he’s not. More is still to come.

Enter Gowdy…

From Daily Caller:

Former South Carolina Rep. Trey Gowdy isn’t offering any apologies to former FBI Director James Comey, who’s requested apologies from his critics.

While the most recent Inspector General report did not recommend criminal prosecution, it did conclude that Comey “failed” to safeguard “sensitive information obtained during the course of his FBI employment.”

Speaking on Friday night’s “Hannity” with guest host and former Congressman Jason Chaffetz, Gowdy pointed out that there are other ways to judge someone other than criminal prosecution.

WATCH:

DOJ IG “found no evidence that Comey or his attorneys released any of the classified information contained in any of the memos to members of the media.” I don’t need a public apology from those who defamed me, but a quick message with a “sorry we lied about you” would be nice.

And to all those who’ve spent two years talking about me “going to jail” or being a “liar and a leaker”—ask yourselves why you still trust people who gave you bad info for so long, including the president.
