Hawaii Senator Mazie Hirono (D) acts like she’s not a fan of President Trump but in reality, she’s probably his biggest fan.

After all, nobody would know who she was if Trump never became president.

Now, she’s famous!

South Carolina Sen. Lindsey Graham shut Hirono down during her line of questioning to Attorney General Bill Barr.

She didn’t have much of a comeback.

Deep down, Mazie knows Lindsey is right.

From Daily Wire:

Senate Judiciary Committee Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-SC) interrupted and shut down Sen. Mazie Hirono (D-HI) after she “slandered” Attorney General Bill Barr during his Wednesday hearing.

HIRONO: “Do you think it’s okay for a president to offer pardons to people who don’t testify against him, to threaten the family of someone who does? Is that okay?

BARR: “When did he offer a pardon to somebody?

HIRONO: “I think you know what I’m talking about. Please, Mr. Attorney General. Give us some credit for knowing what the hell’s going on around here.

GRAHAM: “Not really. To this line of questioning. Listen, you slandered this man!

HIRONO: “Mr. Chairman, I am done!

GRAHAM: “You slandered this man from top to bottom!” Graham continued. “If you want more of this, you’re not going to get it. If you want to ask some questions, you can.

HIRONO: “You certainly have your opinion. And I have mine.

MSNBC host Katy Tur basically called Hirono, and all Democrats in general, hypocrites.

This happened after 43 Senate Dems voted “present” on Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez’s (NY) “Green New Deal.”

What Tur highlights is that Hirono and her ilk are “trying to appear to support the bill without having to suffer for it politically.”

Tur noted, “But isn’t that an argument that you just made to vote ‘yes’ for it. I mean McConnell may be trying to make it a show vote… You’ve signed onto this, you’re one of the co-authors of it. If you believe that this is something – even if it’s aspirational – that needs to get done, why not take a stand and vote YES for it, [saying] ‘here’s where the Democrats stand on it’ and ‘we don’t don’t care that it’s a show vote from Leader McConnell.

She added, “It seems like you’re trying to have it both ways – not be hung by it politically but also NOT say that you don’t support it.
