WATCH: Mitch McConnell Hilariously Trolls Obama After SCOTUS Seat Vacated
Whoever knew that the inaptly nicknamed “Cocaine Mitch” was such a brilliant troll?
Vindication and satisfaction are in the air for Republicans this week, as Justice Kennedy announced his retirement, leaving a vacant seat on the Supreme Court to be filled with yet another Trump appointee.
It’s stunning how quickly Democrats have changed their tune when it comes to a filibuster now that it would be incredibly expedient for them, as they are vying for a Congressional majority following the November midterms.
Revenge, sweet glorious revenge.

And Mitch McConnell, who directly warned them in 2013 they’d regret nixing the filibuster for judicial court nominees, found an incredibly hilarious way to troll them.
“McConnell,” the Daily Wire explains, “who made sure the late Justice Antonin Scalia’s seat got filled by a conservative, seemingly had a little fun of his own, trolling former President Obama by wearing a suit exactly like his. Obama had caused mild controversy when he appeared in the briefing room in 2014 wearing a tan suit.”
Naturally, conservative Twitter went nuts over the Senate Majority Leader’s hilarious stunt:
