For the average conservative to call the media a wing of the Democrat party is not a huge thing.
It’s an albeit somewhat hyperbolic statement that has become a common saying on the right, as the media appears to have no other interest than to relentlessly slam Republicans and systematically ignore the many sins of Democrats.
This is nothing new, although it’s reached a fever pitch since 2016. The media held the Bush administrations under the microscope while constantly covering for Clinton and Obama.
The contrast just between the questions thrown at POTUS 44 and POTUS 45 alone are telling enough.
If there ever was a President prepared to take the battering of the left-wing media, especially when he incites their anger more than any president prior, it’s definitely Trump, who must be credited for managing to tap into a public distrust of the media that has reached astounding new lows.
Still, this week he made an incredible statement, even for him:
He flat-out called the media a “wing of the Democrat party.”

Speaking with reporters about his new trade deal this week, the line of questioning inevitably led towards the battle in Congress over his SCOTUS nominee, Brett Kavanaugh.
“I know them too well,” Trump said of Senate Democrats, according to the Daily Caller. “You know what? They are not angels.”
He named Sens Feinstein and Blumenthal by name…as well as the reporters standing before him.
“More importantly, in a sense, for (Feinstein) to have waited for that period of time, and now for you Democrats…” he continued.
“And I guess I’m including you, too, the media. I consider you a part of the Democrat Party.”
“But, for you, for the Democrats, to be talking about, ‘We want more time for the FBI.’
“If you wanted more time for the FBI, why didn’t Dianne Feinstein bring this up?” he added.
Well…if the shoe fits!
