White House Demonizes Trucker Convoy with Overzealous Security Response
The 21st century version of the ancient art of politicking has devolved into a massive PR campaign for everyone involved, where optics outweigh policy and character by tenfold.
Joe Biden is no stranger to this, having been suckling at the teat of the federal government for more than 4 decades. If this longtime liberal can’t whip up some spin, then nobody can.
And that’s precisely what’s happening this week in the nation’s capital.
The U.S. Secret Service has beefed up security at the White House in response to heightened concerns about trucker convoys heading to Washington, D.C., that are timed to coincide with President Biden’s State of the Union address on March 1, Yahoo News has learned.
The Department of Homeland Security, the FBI, Capitol Police and other law enforcement agencies are tracking multiple trucker convoys headed to Washington to protest vaccine mandates put in place to stop the spread of COVID-19, according to five law enforcement bulletins obtained by Yahoo News.
Then the administration went as far as throwing a little “domestic terrorism” warning into the mix.
On Thursday, the DHS circulated a situation report detailing the movements of trucker convoys making their way from California and the Northeast to the nation’s capital.

There is no reason to believe that the truck convoy will be anything but peaceful, as it was in Canada until the police decided to employ force to end the demonstrations. By engaging these highest levels of law enforcement, Biden is manufacturing a menace where there is none, which certainly suits his party’s political leanings.
