Woman Claims to be Victim of Trump-Related Hate Crime. There's Just One Problem.
A Long Island woman has been charged with fabricating a story about being the victim of a Trump-related hate crime, which is proof positive that, believe it or not, justice is still alive in America.
Adwoa Lewis, 19, of Baldwin, Long Island, spoke with police on Friday of last week where she stated she was driving home when a group of four teenagers approached her and shouted “Trump 2016!” and allegedly told her she didn’t belong here.
Lewis also claimed that after she parked her car in front of her house, she woke up the next day to find slashed tires and a note that read, “Go Home.”

Lewis is charged with making a false punishable written statement and was released on an appearance ticket.
This just goes to show you that Trump Derangement Syndrome isn’t just a snarky retort concocted by brilliant theorists and debaters on the right. It turns out, it’s a real thing, largely brought about by the left’s stunted emotional maturity leading to an inability to handle difficult situations.
It’s sad, but totally true.
This young woman, desperate for attention, knew that making up this baloney and blaming it on Trump would thrust her into the limelight, and that’s precisely what it’s done. So, on that note, perhaps Lewis is owed some congratulations.
It’s a big deal meeting one’s personal goals.
However, her case highlights the problem with modern politics. People aren’t really in this to make America a better place. They’re in it to get their own fifteen minutes of fame. Politics are a way to become famous and important, an influencer on social media. It’s not about bettering the lives of the American people or preserving liberty.
Shameful.
