Is this real life?

If an injustice has occurred, especially one as egregious as rape, you’d think a person would want to press charges.

You’d also think they’d come out right away as opposed to waiting 20 years to tell their story.

Enter E. Jean Carroll, who not only says she was taken advantage of by Donald Trump, but who gives a while answer as to why she won’t press charges.

Elle magazine advice columnist E. Jean Carroll said Friday that she would not press charges against President Donald Trump for allegedly raping her in the mid-1990s because that would be “disrespectful” to immigrant women who are victimized by rape, noting that her alleged rape only lasted “three minutes.”

As reported by The Daily Wire on Friday, Carroll’s upcoming book, “What Do We Need Men For? A Modest Proposal,” details the decades-old rape accusation against Trump, which the president has since vehemently denied.

“I would find it disrespectful to the women who are down on the border who are being raped around the clock down there without any protection,” Carroll told MSNBC host Lawrence O’Donnell when asked why she wouldn’t press charges.

“Only in America.”

That’s what CNN host Chris Cuomo, brother of radically far-left New York Governor Andrew Cuomo, had to say to a rape victim after she showed her support for the Second Amendment.

Talk about bush league.

Check this out, from Daily Wire:

Cuomo’s tweet was aimed at Kim Corban, who was raped in 2006 when she was 20 years old after a man broke into her apartment and sexually assaulted her for approximately two hours. In a 2016 report, The Washington Post noted how Corban has “struggled with depression, PTSD and stress-related seizures” as a result of the attack.

Corban appeared in an ad video for the National Rifle Association (NRA) where she discussed the importance of owning firearms.

Corban responded:

Hi @ChrisCuomo. Looks like you forgot to tag me. Care to chat about this?

Reactions:

Not sure what you mean by this. “Only in America” can a rape survivor protect herself and her family against any future threat? This is bad how?

You should probably take a moment and google who Kim Corban is, Chaplinksy.

Man mocks rape survivor who protects her children with firearm… Only on CNN.

You might want explain this tweet a little better to those of us who’ve actually had to face predators in our own homes and defend ourselves without a big strong man like yourself?

More on Corban:

Additionally, she and her husband were recently the targets of an assassination plot by white supremacists up on (among other things) illegal gun charges of which her husband was the prosecutor.

Save conservative media!

Still want to let criminals out?

Democrat policies made this unfortunate story possible. Liberal “leaders” won’t take any of the blame, though. Sure, the only person to commit a criminal act was Ibrahim Bouaichi, but he shouldn’t have been released from jail in the first place. Are Dems still cool with freeing bad people? From TDW: A Maryland man being held in a Virginia prison on rape charges was released over coronavirus concerns, then allegedly murdered his accuser, according to police. Police tracked down and found Ibrahim Bouaichi, 33, in Prince George’s County, Maryland, on Wednesday. Authorities sought Bouaichi in connection with the death of Karla Dominguez, who had accused Bouaichi of rape and testified against him in October, according to The Washington Post. CONTINUED: When police located Bouaichi, he fled in his car until he crashed. Police moving to arrest him found that he had apparently shot himself. Bouaichi remained in critical condition on Thursday. Partly on Dominguez’s testimony, Bouaichi was indicted on five felony charges of rape, sodomy, strangulation, abduction, and burglary. Bouaichi was held without bail in an Alexandria prison facility until April 9, when Circuit Court Judge Nolan Dawkins ordered his release on a $25,000 bond. Rashida Tlaib Forced to Repay Campaign Nearly $11,000 for Illegal Disbursements to Herself

If Rashida Tlaib was a Republican and got caught illegal distributing funds from a campaign, there would be calls for her immediate resignation. But she’s a Democrat – so it’s all good! From Fox News: Rep. Rashida Tlaib has been ordered to repay $10,800 to her campaign committee to account for the salary she had paid herself from her campaign coffers after she had been elected to Congress in 2018. The bipartisan House Ethics Committee found the Michigan Democrat’s violation “was one of bad timing and not ill intent.” The committee ordered her to pay $10,800 of the $17,500 she received from her campaign in 2018. Congressional candidates are allowed to draw paychecks from their campaigns, but payments are only allowed during an active candidacy. Continued: “The committee did not find that she sought to unjustly enrich herself by receiving the campaign funds at issue,” the committee wrote Friday. “Indeed, during her campaign, Representative Tlaib received a conservative amount of campaign funds, well below the legal threshold for the maximum amount of salary she was eligible to receive; these payments allowed her to forego her salary from her full-time employment so that she could fully participate in campaign activities.” LOOK: https://twitter.com/RashidaTlaib/status/1245428215751065602?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw%7Ctwcamp%5Etweetembed%7Ctwterm%5E1245428215751065602&ref_url=https%3A%2F%2Ftwitchy.com%2Fbrettt-3136%2F2020%2F04%2F01%2Frep-rashida-tlaib-reminds-us-the-covid-19-pandemic-is-exposing-structural-racism-in-the-us%2F REACTIONS:
