Women’s Ministry Leader Lysa TerKeurst Has Truly Amazing News About Broken Marriage

Published

on

Last year, the Christian world was rocked by the news that Proverbs 31 founder and prolific faith author Lysa TerKeurst had decided to divorce her husband of 25 years.

TerKeurst, who literally wrote the book on building long-lasting, healthy marriages, explained that her husband, Art, had engaged in repeated infidelity and substance use and that it was for this reason she had decided to separate.

“My husband, life partner and father of my children, Art TerKeurst, has been repeatedly unfaithful to me with a woman he met online, bringing an end to our marriage of almost 25 years,” she explained to her nearly 500 million followers last year, FaithWire reports.

“For the past couple of years, his life has sadly been defined by his affection for this other woman and substance abuse. I don’t share this to harm or embarrass him, but to help explain why I have decided to separate from him and pursue a divorce. God has now revealed to me that I have done all I can do and I must release him to the Savior.”

A woman who is known for her radical faith and constant reminder to seek Christ in all things, despite all our flaws and failures, TerKeurst once again stunned her many loyal followers in a whole new way this week, making a shock announcement that shows just how faithful God is to restore us to Him, no matter how far we have strayed.

Incredibly, Lysa and Art have now decided to reconcile.

“Never doubt we serve a God who still does miracles. In the middle of the work He did from the devastation in my marriage nothing looked like I hoped and everything felt impossible,” TerKeurst wrote on Instagram on Friday.

Never doubt we serve a God who still does miracles. In the middle of the work He did from the devastation in my marriage nothing looked like I hoped and everything felt impossible. I prayed a million suggestions to God that never ever came to be. And the number of tears shed in the process about leaked the life out of me. But all the while when I saw nothing, God was doing something. And in His way and His timing, new life came. No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do. God does some of His best work in the unseen. . And thank you @jenniferabercrombiebeauty for making me feel pretty on this day of my dreams.

God does some of His best work in the unseen.

Praise God! How often are we reminded that when things seem the most hopeless is when he often chooses to display His power?

The TerKeurst’s children also praised the Lord for the good news.

“My rocks. My heros [sic]. Gods miracle in motion,” posted TerKeurst’s daughter, Ashley. “The best redemption story there ever was. My parents, together, forever again!”

Christian Satire Site Strikes Back Against Snopes ‘Smear.’ Here’s How Snopes’ Responded.

Snopes just got put in their place. Good on you, Babylon Bee!

Published

Hilariously funny Christian satire site, the Babylon Bee, decided they had enough shenanigans from Snopes, the self-described “fact checking” site and the ongoing smear they launched against them, so they lawyered up, and boy, it didn’t take long for Snopes to change their tune. This just goes to show that we as conservatives and Christians shouldn’t be taking the attacks left-wing media launch at us lying down. The more we fight back, the more they surrender. via Daily Wire: “Last week, Snopes fact-checked us again,” the Bee told its readers Monday (h/t Ed Morrissey). “We’re pretty used to that. But this time, instead of merely rating the article ‘false,’ they questioned whether our work qualifies as satire, and even went so far as to suggest that we were deliberately deceiving our readers. Basically, they treated us as a source of intentionally misleading fake news, rather than as the legitimate, well-known satire publication that we are. This is a big deal.” The reason it’s a “big deal,” the site goes on to explain, is that Snopes has been given significant power over how platforms — particularly Facebook, for which Snopes has served as one of its “fake news” monitors — handle posts: As you know, fake news—which is distinguished from satire by its intent to mislead—was widely considered a serious issue in the last election cycle. As a result, social media networks like Facebook began partnering with fact-checkers to try and limit the distribution of fake news on their platforms. Snopes was one of them. At one point, a piece of ours was rated “false” by Snopes, prompting Facebook to threaten us with limitations and demonetization. We made a stink about this, and after some media attention shed light on the problem, Facebook apologized for their handling of the matter and…

Argentine Photographer Captures INCREDIBLE Image of Christ-Like Cloud

It cannot be denied that our world is in the midst of turmoil unlike anything we’ve seen in the past. From Birmingham to Beijing, we are seeing unprecedented poverty, crime, hate, violence, war, famine….you name it.  Combine these issues with a mainstream media who is salivating at the chance to rile us up for ratings and money, and the world becomes a downright scary place. Where do we turn when the world seems to shun us?  For some, the answers lie in the bottom of a bottle.  For others, it’s self-harm or outward violence. For many, however, their faith is their rock.  They turn to the religious world for answers to the questions that plague us today, and, often, they discover signs of encouragement. Such is the case today in Argentina. Monica Aramayo was in San Salvador de Jujuy in Argentina when she noticed the holy figure shining through the thick clouds Social media user Mariela Romano said: “The Lord will soon come for us all and we should be ready. While another said: “Thanks for the image that allows us to keep on our path and have a better hope for tomorrow.” The photo has to be seen to be believed. https://twitter.com/faithdefender/status/1128809009153097728 The pose and grand scale of the image has reminded many observers of the famous Christ The Redeemer statue in Brazil. https://twitter.com/OtravelAI/status/1082513665700507648 And while the cloud formation certainly isn’t going to change the minds of the unfaithful, it does provide us all with a reminder that we are loved, and we must remain harmonious with one another on this turbulent little space rock.
