Women’s Ministry Leader Lysa TerKeurst Has Truly Amazing News About Broken Marriage

Published

on

Last year, the Christian world was rocked by the news that Proverbs 31 founder and prolific faith author Lysa TerKeurst had decided to divorce her husband of 25 years.

TerKeurst, who literally wrote the book on building long-lasting, healthy marriages, explained that her husband, Art, had engaged in repeated infidelity and substance use and that it was for this reason she had decided to separate.

“My husband, life partner and father of my children, Art TerKeurst, has been repeatedly unfaithful to me with a woman he met online, bringing an end to our marriage of almost 25 years,” she explained to her nearly 500 million followers last year, FaithWire reports.

“For the past couple of years, his life has sadly been defined by his affection for this other woman and substance abuse. I don’t share this to harm or embarrass him, but to help explain why I have decided to separate from him and pursue a divorce. God has now revealed to me that I have done all I can do and I must release him to the Savior.”

A woman who is known for her radical faith and constant reminder to seek Christ in all things, despite all our flaws and failures, TerKeurst once again stunned her many loyal followers in a whole new way this week, making a shock announcement that shows just how faithful God is to restore us to Him, no matter how far we have strayed.

Incredibly, Lysa and Art have now decided to reconcile.

“Never doubt we serve a God who still does miracles. In the middle of the work He did from the devastation in my marriage nothing looked like I hoped and everything felt impossible,” TerKeurst wrote on Instagram on Friday.

Never doubt we serve a God who still does miracles. In the middle of the work He did from the devastation in my marriage nothing looked like I hoped and everything felt impossible. I prayed a million suggestions to God that never ever came to be. And the number of tears shed in the process about leaked the life out of me. But all the while when I saw nothing, God was doing something. And in His way and His timing, new life came. No matter how impossible that miracle you are praying for seems, please trust that only God knows the full story. He is working. He is hearing and shifting and intervening and convicting and stirring and doing what only He can do. God does some of His best work in the unseen. . And thank you @jenniferabercrombiebeauty for making me feel pretty on this day of my dreams.

Praise God! How often are we reminded that when things seem the most hopeless is when he often chooses to display His power?

The TerKeurst’s children also praised the Lord for the good news.

“My rocks. My heros [sic]. Gods miracle in motion,” posted TerKeurst’s daughter, Ashley. “The best redemption story there ever was. My parents, together, forever again!”

Tulsi Gabbard Launches $50 Million Defamation Lawsuit Against Hillary Over ‘Russian Asset’ Comment

Published

Democratic presidential candidate Rep. Tulsi Gabbard is quickly proving that while she is most assuredly on the left politically, she’s also got a lot in common with those on the right as well. Like a mutual disdain for former Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton. Clinton targeted Gabbard for some of her more centrist policies last year, stating that Gabbard is a “Russian asset.” Well, much like President Trump, Gabbard isn’t afraid of a fight. In fact, she’s now suing Hillary for $50 million in a defamation lawsuit over the statement. Here’s more from Fox News: During an October 2019 interview with the podcast Campaign HQ With David Plouffe, Clinton suggested the 2020 presidential candidate was “the favorite of the Russians” and “a Russian asset.” Gabbard insists these statements have no grounds in reality, and that Clinton knew or should have known this at the time. “Rather than facts or reliable evidence, Clinton’s basis for the Defamatory Statements was one or both of: (a) her own imagination; or (b) extremely dubious conspiracy theories that any reasonable person (and especially Clinton, a former United States Senator and Secretary of State) would know to be fanciful, wholly unverified, and inherently and objectively unreliable,” said the lawsuit, filed Wednesday in Manhattan federal court. Clinton did not specifically name Gabbard in her remarks, but strongly implied she was referring to her. The complaint points out that when asked if she was referring to Gabbard, Clinton spokesman Nick Merrill responded, “If the nesting doll fits,” a reference to Russian dolls. Gabbard’s complaint states in no uncertain terms that “Tulsi is not a Russian asset,” and that neither Russia nor anyone else “controls her or her presidential campaign.” To the contrary, it plays up her history of public service, from her time in the Army National Guard…

Kanye West Asked ‘Jesus Is King’ Employees To Abstain From Pre-Marital Sex; Says Porn Is ‘Not Okay’

Published

Superstar rap artist Kanye West, who has been all over the news for the last few months due to his open proclamation of Christian conversion, recently opened up about the making of his latest album set to be released soon, “Jesus Is King,” saying he told employees working on the album they had to abstain from pre-marital sex. West also went on to slam pornography saying it’s “not okay.” Here’s more from The Daily Wire: “When collaborating with others on ‘Jesus Is King,’ West set up some lifestyle guidelines that they would have to abide by in order be part of the project,” Billboard reported. “Yeezy asked others to fast during portions of creating and also not partake in any premarital sex at times, which he knew would receive some blowback once it became public.” “There were times where I was asking people not to have premarital sex while they were working on the album,” West told Lowe, noting, “When people pray together and fast together, the power is increased.” The 42-year-old explained that he no longer views himself as a “slave” to the music industry, but as a “free” “son of God” spreading the gospel. West went on to talk about how he feels he has now been called to spread the gospel with his platform, noting how he used to talk about high fashion, alcohol, and others things that had a profound impact on his life. But now, however, all that’s changed. Jesus is what he’s all about now. “Now that I’m in service to Christ, my job is to spread the gospel, to let people know what Jesus has done for me. I’ve spread a lot of things. There was a time I was letting you know what high fashion had done for me, I was letting…
