WWIII WATCH: Russia Claims US 'Directly' Involved in Ukraine
While it may be becoming difficult to keep track of all of the “lines in the sand” that Vladimir Putin and his cronies have drawn in response to their invasion of Ukraine, perhaps the most pertinent proclamation has to do with just how involved the United States becomes in the ordeal.
The Kremlin, along with Russia’s state-sponsored media, have repeatedly suggested that any attempt by western nations to become directly involved in the ordeal would be grounds for military action against them…perhaps even involving a nuclear strike.
Now, as Russia’s advances in Ukraine continue to stagnate, Putin’s pals are making one heck of an arbitrary determination.
Russia’s defence ministry, headed by a close ally of President Vladimir Putin, said Vadym Skibitsky, Ukraine’s deputy head of military intelligence, had admitted to the Telegraph newspaper that Washington coordinates HIMARS missile strikes.
“All this undeniably proves that Washington, contrary to White House and Pentagon claims, is directly involved in the conflict in Ukraine,” the defence ministry said.
And that wasn’t all:
Russia said the Biden administration was responsible for missile attacks on civilian targets in areas controlled by Russian-backed forces in eastern Ukraine.

Russia’s consistent failures in Ukraine have caused a great deal of agitation in the Kremlin, and have forced Putin to move the goalposts on several occasions.
This latest escalation of rhetoric may very well be nothing more than some public posturing meant to portray strength where there is none.
