Yale Law Professor Accused of Grooming Potential Kavanaugh Clerks. Here’s How She’s Responding

Published

on

A top Yale professor is being accused by Democrats of advising students who were seeking judicial clerkships with SCOTUS nominee Judge Brett Kavanaugh to look a certain way.

According to Amy Chua, these allegations are absolutely, 100 percent false.

Reports from HuffPo, The Guardian, and Above the Law, are stating that Chua told her students that it was “not an accident” that Kavanaugh’s female clerks “looked like models.”

The reports seemed to suggest that Kavanaugh, whose nomination to the Supreme Court has been halted by sexual assault allegations from high school, chose his female law clerks based on their physical appearances. (RELATED: Kavanaugh’s Confirmation In Limbo For Foreseeable Future)

“Everything that is being said about the advice I give to students applying to Brett Kavanaugh — or any judge — is outrageous, 100% false, and the exact opposite of everything I have stood for and said for the last fifteen years,” Chua said in a statement she posted Saturday on Twitter.

After the reports came out Thursday on Chua’s alleged advice, Yale Law School Dean Heather Gerken said Chua’s reported faculty misconduct is of “enormous concern.”

“I advise students, male and female, to dress professionally — not too casually — and to avoid inappropriate clothing,” Chua said. “I always try my best to be frank and transparent, and to hold students to the highest professional standard.”

Chua, a vocal supporter of Kavanaugh, wrote an op-ed in July in The Wall Street Journal titled “Kavanaugh Is a Mentor To Women.”

It seems the reports are not only targeting Chua, but her husband as well.

Jed Rubenfeld, a fellow Yale law professor, reportedly told a student that Judge Kavanaugh “hires women with a certain look.”

Again, the left is waging all out war against Kavanaugh, doing everything in their power to prevent a conservative judge from being placed in the Supreme Court?

Why?

Because they are desperate to protect the murder of the unborn. Their biggest fear is that Kavanaugh will tip the balance and allow a reversal of Roe v. Wade, thus making abortion a state issue, and making it easier to be banned.

That’s how sick and twisted the left is. They’re willing to destroy a person inside and out in order to hold on to the right to murder someone in the womb.

It’s truly deplorable.

Adam Schiff Predictably Pounces on Republican’s Call for Impeachment

While the tide may be turning in Congress, Nancy Pelosi continues to stonewall her own constituents.

As the dysfunction in DC reaches dire new heights, some who were previously loyal to President Trump have taken a turn. On the left, the idea of impeachment has been around since before Donald Trump even took office.  The simple fact that he was running for President was enough to have democrats working toward some sort of “back up plan” to oust him should he win. And when he did, the entirety of the left side of the aisle went up in flames. Now after two years of Trump in the Oval Office, the democrats are still trying to remove him, or nullify the results of the 2016 election by casting fears of Russian meddling into the public realm. One of the loudest voices in this anti-Presidential fracas has been Adam Schiff, who today latched onto a surprising republican call for impeachment. Sunday on CBS’s “Face the Nation,” Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) said his House of Representatives colleague Rep. Justin Amash (R-MI) declaring President Donald Trump had engaged in “impeachable conduct” was courageous. Schiff said, “What the speaker has referred to and I have as well is can impeachment be successful in the Senate? We see no signs of that yet. I respect what Justin Amash is doing has said he showed more courage than any other Republican in the House or Senate. But what may be pushing us in the direction of impeachment in any event has less to do with Justin Amash but more the administration is engaging in a maximum obstructionism campaign.” Amash became the first prominent republican to publicly state his belief that Donald Trump has engaged in “impeachable” offenses. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has rebuked any and all talk of impeachment, furthering infuriating an already hysterical democratic base.

WATCH: Biden Tells Crowd That Trump’s Strong Economy Is All Because of Obama – & HIM

Joe’s doing stand-up comedy, now?

Joe Biden is quite the card, even after all these years. Where he finds the marbles to tell a crowd of rallygoers that he and Barack Obama are responsible for the current thriving economy is anyone’s guess, but when you’re talking to the politically uninformed anything goes. Check this out… WATCH: Joe Biden: “I know President Trump likes to take credit for the economy… Just look at the facts, not the alternative facts. President Trump inherited an economy from Obama-Biden administration that was given to him — just like he inherited everything else in his life.” https://twitter.com/thehill/status/1130179564351741952?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw Pitiful, Joe. Just pitiful. Late Senator John McCain (AZ) is a war hero who served his country with honor for the vast majority of his life. By refusing to leave his fellow soldiers behind during the Vietnam war and enduring endless amounts of torture, McCain put his true character on display. While it is evident that McCain swung violently left on certain issues (even refusing to repeal Obamacare shortly after Donald Trump became president), every American owes him a debt of gratitude. Let’s be honest: Trump was entirely wrong when he said of McCain in 2015, “I like people who weren’t captured.” That was pretty bad. McCain and Trump never saw eye-to-eye, prompting the senator’s outspoken daughter, Meghan, to constantly attack POTUS in defense of her father. Now, it looks like the McCain family will support former Biden over Trump come 2020. From Washington Examiner: The late Sen. John McCain’s family plans to support former Vice President Joe Biden’s White House bid, backing the Democrat not only in his party’s crowded primary race but also in a general election matchup with President Trump, the Washington Examiner has learned. In an extraordinary snub to Trump, who derided McCain’s Vietnam War service and mocked him…
